Zintzo Z Rioja 2013
Zintzo wines are derived out of a long-running tradition of using traditional carbonic maceration methods to make this young wine at the small, basque family-owned winery. Located in the old wineries barrio in Villabuena de Álava. Like many wineries in Spain Bodegas Zintzo started out as a true family winery (bodega de familia) and only produced wine for family and friends. For many years most grapes were sold to other wine makers. In 1994 the family decided to launch Zintzo. We are very happy they did!
