2015 Vinos Sanz Sauvignon Blanc

Vinos Sanz has been making wine since 1870. This varietal masterpiece is made from a selection of the best Sauvignon Blanc grapes hand picked from the estate of one of Rueda’s oldest wineries. Ideal climate and soil make for a fantastic example of how good a SB can be! Almost green apple candy on the nose! We love this wine with seafood Tapas, fish dishes and even chicken.

Winemaking Notes: Processed with special care to achieve a wine that expresses the full range of this grapes characteristic aromas and flavors. After being meticulously selected in the vineyard, the grapes are kept cold for maximum extraction and retention of flavors and aromas before fermentation. Fermentation is then done in temperature controlled stainless steel before bottling.

Tasting Notes: Straw-yellow color with intense fruit aromas, especially green apple - a hallmark of the variety. Full and ingratiating on the palate including citrus fruit notes like grapefruit, melon and peach. A great acid-alcohol balance and a long, lingering finish that leaves the memory of pineapple.

Paring Suggestions: Serve chilled. Seafood tapas, baked and grilled fish, and soft cheeses.
